Approach of the Institute for the Transformation of the Energy System (ITE)

A successful energy transition can only succeed if the topics are examined from different perspectives, as we have set ourselves the goal of doing with the institute. In our projects, we work on an interdisciplinary basis, which means that employees from at least two key areas often work together.

Main research areas

The ITE pursues a normative objective: to shape and advance the energy transition in the region and beyond from an interdisciplinary perspective and with regional stakeholders. In addition to the expansion of specialist know-how, the transfer to the economy and society is also being promoted.
