Project description
Moin!MINT² (Moint!MINT-Quadrat) builds on the already established concepts of the Moin!MINT project. Moin!MINT has been establishing technology projects in Dithmarsch schools since 2022. The project picks up the pupils where they are: on site, in their everyday lives and in their interests. With Moin!MINT², we want to expand this successful concept along the west coast. Moin!MINT² thus covers almost a third of Schleswig-Holstein with its STEM offerings. The square not only stands for regional scaling. The new cluster is also intended to square the impact and thereby
- close the educational chain with further offers for young people aged 11-18.
- offer career guidance in the company network from lower school onwards.
- place an even stronger focus on schoolgirls and young women.
- intensify the already close cooperation with schools.
The acronym "Moin!MINT²" was deliberately chosen as a close reference to the existing STEM cluster "Moin!MINT". Here in the north, a large network for STEM offerings is to be created along the west coast.
Moin!MINT² is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the regional cluster for STEM education for young people.
