Project description
Tinkering, experimenting and trying things out for yourself: For the first time in Dithmarschen, Moin!MINT is creating a district-wide offer for children and young people in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (MINT). Together with other STEM providers from the region, the association is setting up a new structure that will provide regular hands-on and learning projects in the afternoons for the first time. The offer is aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 16. The project focuses on the "T" in STEM, because compromises always have to be found in technology, e.g. between what is naturally possible, economically justifiable and ecologically sensible. This requires thinking in terms of alternative solutions, creativity and problem-solving skills. Participants develop a systemic understanding of energy and environmental technology, can combine artistic and creative work with technology and experience diverse approaches to the world of code and tech.
