Project description

The aim of the project is to determine the potential of heat supply via large heat pumps based on existing and partly newly collected data. Research into the progress and market availability of large heat pumps and their operating parameters is fundamental to the investigation. These are heterogeneous and little is known about them. Only on this basis can potentials be determined in relation to environmental heat sources. The project results are relevant for local authorities, utility companies and political decision-makers. They should be put in a position to plan and operate the heat supply of Schleswig-Holstein more efficiently overall.
